Sweet Ian

My last newborn of 2008. He's such a sweetie! His brother, Ryan, was one of my first newborns and I feel like I've come full circle with this wonderful family. Congratulations to Alicia and Keith!

Ahh....newborns!

I love them! Little Pete was a sweetheart. Cuddly and new with big eyes. He didn't want to keep them closed for me, but I won in the end. One of big brother Thomas, too.

Debonair Jack

Siblings at the park

This was a fun(and chilly) session. Meet Kevin, Hannah, and Ryan-brothers and sister. Mom really wanted some photos of them together before Kevin moves on with his adult life. Bittersweet for a mom to think about. They're not even my children and it made me a little sad. I have to say, though, these are fantastic kids. And Kevin was such a great sport, even though I asked him to meet me in the park at 9:30 am the day after a Halloween party. Enjoy your sneak peek, Aimee and Jason.

Jordan and Janie

Urban Workshop 2008

I recently participated in an urban workshop for children and seniors. My kids were lucky enough to play model for part of the morning and I wanted to share the results with all of you. I'm so lucky!

I got to work with one of my favorite little clients in one of my favorite places. Thomas is 2 years old now and just as sweet(if a little more active...lol!) as ever. Sweet Howie

Howie was just a tiny guy the last time I photographed him. Now he's one year old. I can't believe how quickly time passes. He was a sweet little guy, full of smiles for me. I've got to get back to editing, but here's the first two I've done. I hope you enjoy them, Sheila!

It's newborn season

It seems like I'm getting a lot of newborns lately. No complaints here-I love photographing these little newbies. So sweet-and this little guy was no exception. Gorgeous newborn

I got to get my baby fix the other day. My sister's sister-in-law had a baby girl a few weeks ago and I got to photograph her. Such a beautiful chubby newborn-my favorite kind! Delaney was a sweetheart and you sure can tell her mommy and daddy adore her. Enjoy your sneak peek, Kellie and Andy!

Sisters and their little brother

I photographed these three beauties a few days ago. The girls were naturals and had fun playing model for the morning. Sarah is the oldest and a sweet little lady. Second time around

Kelly has been bringing Jordan to me since she was 4 months old. In fact, she was one of my very first clients. That made it doubly special to photograph Jordan's brand new sister, Janie, for the first time at 6 days old. She was such a sweet baby-curious as can be already. She didn't want to fall asleep and miss a thing. Janie was awake for most of our session, but I got a good 5 minutes of sleeping newborn to get these sweet shots. One of big sister, Jordan, too. Congrats on your second little princess, Kelly and Jay!

Michelle and family

One of the things I love about my job is the opportunity to work with and get to know truly nice people. Michelle and Rob brought their family to see me over the weekend. They're lovely, sincere people. We worked on getting some family photos along with a few of army man Blake and lots of their little ballerina, Natalie. I'm knee deep in proofing today, but here's a quick sneak peek of the first few I've proofed. Enjoy, Michelle and Rob!

And Princess #3

I had a weekend full of princesses! Hannah and her brother, Ryan, came for photos on Sunday. Ryan is a boys' boy. He took great pride in roaring his loudest lion roar at me. So cute! But Hannah-she was all about the princesses. We talked about her favorites-Snow White and Cinderella(whom she calls Princess Mom because she thinks her mommy looks like Cinderella. Isn't that the sweetest?) We had fun playing and their daddy had fun giving me bunny ears to make the kids laugh. A good time all around.

Two Little Princesses

Mairen and Delaney came to see me last weekend. We dressed up, sang, danced, and talked about our favorite princesses. The perfect girly visit!
